MN Trophies
It was opening day of the MN firearms season. Temps in the 20's, strong NW winds, snow flurries. We were hunting on public land about 1 1/2 miles back in, no vehicle access allowed. My brother Dan took a really nice 6 pt (no brow tines) just before lunch. I climbed out of my stand and walked over to check out his buck and to warm up some. Dan decided to take a hike to warm up as well, so I decided to climb into his stand since he had had all the action in the morning. About 20 minutes later I saw a buck chasing a doe on the opposite ridge. I rattled the Treestand Rattler and got the buck to stop in some very thick cover, but he wouldn't come in. I rattled more violently and all of a sudden he came charging in, right to my brother's dead buck. I shot him 5 yards from where my brothers buck laid. I guess the Rattl'r combined with a "decoy" did the trick. My buck is a 10 pt with a 21" spread.

Montana Trophy
My friend and I had both planned to hunt trophy whitetails in western Montana in Nov. of 2008. Unfortunately I didn't draw, so decided to go along and video and rattle for my buddy. In four days of hunting we rattled in four bucks using the Treestand Rattl'r. Other hunters in the same area had no luck rattling while using real antlers. The buck my buddy finally took on the fourth day of our hunt was the same buck we rattled in and passed on during the first afternoon of our hunt. After walking up to the 10 point trophy we couldn't believe we had passed it up earlier.

Wisconsin Buck
| After hunting opening weekend of the Wisconsin deer season and seeing
few deer and no bucks I decided it was time to try something different.
On Monday afternoon there was a light snow falling and few hunters in
the woods. I figured the deer were in the clear cuts but it was still
too noisy to try a stalk. So I set up on an oak ridge about 60 yds from
a clear cut and got out my Treestand Rattler. I was sitting on the
ground and banged the bag against a tree and started to rattle it
between my hands. I rattled at 2:15, 2:30 and 2:45. Almost immediately
after the third rattle I saw a deer coming out of the clear cut towards
me. He had his head held high and was walking with a purpose. He came
to within 35 yards and started to circle obviously looking for the
rattle. When he turned broad side it was all over. While it may not be
the biggest deer it was one that will be the most memorable as it was
the first one in 35 years of hunting I have ever called in. I have tried
other bags and antlers in the past with no success. What a thrill to
actually call in a deer. Thanks for a great product.
